About Us

The Falmouth Pilotage area covers Falmouth and Gerrans Bay, the Carrick Roads, the rivers Fal and Helford and the quarries on the east side of the Lizard peninsula. Within this area are a number of Harbour Authorities: Falmouth Harbour Commissioners, Port of Truro and A & P Falmouth Docks.

Deepwater Bunkering

Falmouth Harbour has a world renowned reputation as a refuelling stop for ships. Serving as the UK’s western most outpost for deep water bunkering, at the head of the English Channel.

Minimal Delays

Due to Falmouth’s location and level of vessel traffic, operators can often enjoy a quick and efficient turnaround, reducing vessel downtime and costs.

Falmouth Pilots work closely with the Harbour Master and all local operators and are happy to assist with any commercial enquiries.
